AI Governance and Regulatory Compliance Management

Enzai was founded in 2021 by CEO Ryan Donnelly and Jack Carlisle and is based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The company offers an AI enablement and governance platform built by lawyers and engineers to help large organizations adopt AI while managing regulatory and operational risk.

To date, Enzai has raised $4 million in seed funding led by Cavalry Ventures with participation from Seedcamp, Techstart Ventures and others. Enzai’s SaaS platform provides AI intake and approval workflows, a centralized AI inventory, and automated compliance checks.

Enzai also offers monitoring/reporting capabilities that map enterprise AI projects to frameworks such as the EU AI Act, NIST AI Risk Management Framework, and ISO 42001, allowing compliance, legal and security teams to manage AI policies, documentation and risk from a single control plane.
