Founded in 2024 by three former Israeli intelligence veterans: CEO Noam Awadish (former Chief of Staff to the EVP of Autonomous Vehicles at Mobileye), CPO Anatoly Blighovsky (former CISO of unit 8200), and CTO Rom Dudkiewicz (former vulnerability researcher and section leader at unit 8200).

The company positions identity and human trust as the new attack surface, citing the rise of deepfakes and voice cloning as catalysts for a new wave of deception-led intrusions.

Imper.ai publicly launched in December 2025 with $28 million in funding led by Redpoint Ventures and Battery Ventures (with participation from Maple VC, Vessy VC, and Cerca Partners). This early raise underscores investor interest in controls that help enterprises govern and reduce the risk of deception in day-to-day collaboration workflows.
