Agentic Cloud Risk Remediation and Exposure Management
ZEST, founded in 2023 and based in New York City and Tel Aviv, Israel, is building an Agentic AI platform focused on automated risk resolution for cloud environments. Rather than stopping at detection, ZEST aims to close the gap between identifying vulnerabilities and actually fixing them — a gap responsible for many modern breaches.
The platform uses AI agents to automatically interpret findings from CSPM and tools, mapping each issue to the most direct, feasible, and impactful remediation path, whether that involves code changes, infrastructure-as-code updates, patches, or policy adjustments.
When such fixes aren’t immediately possible, ZEST deploys alternative protections — such as WAF rules, VPC hardening, and GuardDuty configurations — to reduce exploitable exposure in real time. By automatically generating Terraform fixes and providing clear, prescriptive instructions, ZEST eliminates the friction between security and DevOps teams, cuts down on manual triage, and drastically reduces coordination overhead. ZEST’s support for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud allows organizations to bring unmanaged and misconfigured cloud assets back under control, resolving drift and securing sprawling modern environments.
ZEST represents an emerging class of AI-powered remediation engines that close the loop between risk identification and risk reduction, moving cloud security from merely observing problems to autonomously correcting them.
The company raised a $5 million seed round from Hanaco and Silvertech Ventures in July 2024.
